Avoid room 4! The promised view on a garden with flowers is a joke (a lie infact). Room is very small and so is the toilet. It's much too expensive for what you finally get!!

loved our recent stay at La Marine, Vieux Port. The location and view were exceptional, right on the marina with a picture-perfect view. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a round table overlooking the port. The staff, especially Channel, were incredibly helpful and made our romantic date even more memorable.

We liked its location on the sea-front facing the medieval harbor. The hotel was simple, clean, charming and very centrally located. The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the breakfast in the room and, with a view like that, it can't be better.

Soap/shampoo sachets that are easy to open would be nice.

The room was cozy and seems to have been freshly renovated, very quiet and the staff was super friendly, all this with a perfect location

The breakfast here was delicious, they even had homemade yogurt! 😋 Plus, the staff was super nice and welcoming.

Looking out the window from our front-of-house room. The handsome port sits in front of you; chatter from the diners in the restraurants below rises up; it's a pretty-as-a-postcard picture. Invest in a sandwich, bring back a bottle of wine, and watch La Rochelle at work and play. The hotel is simplicity itself; no frills, no fancies; clean as a whistle.

The stairs up to reception from the street are a bit of a steep climb with luggage. Could be noisy and hot in high summer. Lack of wi-fi may be a worry for some.

The location is superb right in the heart of La Rochelle and the staff were excellent and helpful. The hotel has real atmosphere and soul - it was very pleasant indeed.
